Disgaea 2 tips.
I never noticed this on the original Disgaea 2 but I just made a discovery on Disgaea 2 portable that may help people.
Everyone knows getting items to level 200 can be a pain in the ass, and Disgaea 2 portable knows it, hence the addition of item spheres and the
earlier apperance of fights.
But my tip involves the fortune teller. We all know you have to at least get 2 great luck fortune tellers to get a level 200 item. But I've found out
something about him.
Only WORST luck will put you in the hole with this method, after receiving your fortune you keep talking to him. When he gets pissed off at you and
starts a fight you kill him. After you kill him you will receive a +3 bonus to your item levels.
So breaking it down, with using this method.
Worst luck = -7
Bad luck = 0 (No loss no gain)
Good luck= +6
Great luck= +13
As you can see, using this method the odds are stacked in your favor. Does anybody know if this works in the PS2 version of Disgaea 2?
If not then it might be worth while to investigate.
Also, I haven't checked if my Disgaea 2 pirate hunting trick works on portable. I will have to check that out. Oddly enough, even though I discovered
it on the PS2 ver, I can't remember the method for doing it. XD I'll have to check the posts in the Disgaea 2 section to remember.
